I clearly view liberty and the Constitution much differently than most of y'all. The 1A, 2A and 4A are to be protected at all costs. That's what we fight for--not the politicians who say what certain people want to hear.

Just remember the pendulum swings both ways. Those of you who want to selectively restrict Constitutional rights based on politics or even wage war on fellow citizens should reconsider real hard what you are promoting here. And for what? Lies told by politicians who want to stay in power. Watch the dang videos.

The left will take the Whitehouse and both houses of Congress someday. Probably within the next three years. A hard left Democrat (because that's how the pendulum works) will be in charge of the FBI, ATF, etc. The 1A, 2A and 4A will be irreparably damaged by that point.

I'm in the 2A zealots camp myself. It is a right that applies to everyone, like it or not.

Twisted? The Feds twisted the truth a lot on what this operation was about and how they would carry it out. Targeted operations to get “the worst of the worst” my hind end! At least now they’re refocusing and hopefully bringing some civil liberties back into consideration. Detaining US citizens for hours without access to a lawyer, phone call, etc is illegal and horrible. Just heard a story about a gal who is a US citizen originally from Peru on her way to pick up kid from school got pulled over because of how she looked and asked to show her “papers”. They kept her for over 3 hours before finally accepting she was a citizen. Moral of the story, this is a civil rights disaster first and foremost…..all politics aside, if you are unable to see it, I feel for ya!!

I don’t have time or frankly want to spend much more time arguing about it especially the 2A aspects which y’all have hashed over pretty well. I’ve seen why has happened, I’ve watched all the same videos you have, the Pretti shooting was ridiculous and TERRIBLE action and coordination by supposed law enforcement agents. His previous encounter where he kicked out the taillight I’m sure had no affect on the shooting nor should it have. They had more reason to shoot him for that than what he did when it all went down. Why are these agents walking across streets to confront someone blowing a whistle and then just shove em down to the ground and walk away? You talk about spitting being assault? Anybody with any sense at all who has armed their self, when confronted by multiple armed and kitted out LE would immediately raise both hands over their head and say I am armed, my firearm is in the small of my back.(or where ever it is) Obligation to notify or not. Legal carry or not.
