And we are the opposite of what much of the country is getting. Normally here at 3700’ we have snow and cold weather. This winter very little snow, only a couple days in the teens and yesterday I was setting cat and wolf traps in a shirt with my sleeves rolled up. It’s 50 here today and the long range forecast is not showing much for winter weather.

I’m concerned that we’re in for a terrible fire season with now snow pack.

We had 14 inches last Sunday and it is supposed to get above freezing this coming Friday. I’m ready for it to melt.

8" here but the top 4". is ice, deer can't navigate, just slip, fall, and slide off the ridge. They won't last long with no way to get water.

It's piling up again in Central MN. We got another 5 inches last night.

I'm in Virginia Beach and we got 3/4" of snow with drifts up to as high as 1 3/8" on Saturday and 0.05" of snow on Sunday. I stayed in the house all day.
On Friday the Weather people were insistent that we should stay home during this Bomb Cyclone.

After your snow shoveling training time at Eielson, you should be all set! Hang in there; it will melt soon.
