If you have a lure that animals like to rub/roll on, why what would be the down side of putting it on the pan? Specially bobcats, but also fox.

I use baits no lures can’t think of a thing that hasn't taken baits at one time or another.


Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

If the animal only smells and does not roll you will not have a catch, unless you have a bait behind or under the pan.

Poke a hole in the ground under the pan and put your lure in there. I use bait in and under the cages too.
