Actually in a canoe pulled by an ATV on a rare snow. Were all thinking the same thing but quite sad.

I don't know the details, but it sounds like the stuff we did growing up with canoes, kayaks, tarps, pick-up hoods, etc. doesn't take much for that stuff to go wrong. Unfortunate that he died.

A couple of soccer girls were also killed in a similar accident in Frisco, Texas last week.

When I think back on my own youth it's a miracle i'm still here.

Two 16 year old girls killed her riding in a sled by a 16 kid pulling it with his jeep, all had just got their drivers license.

Youth and young in my 20s work life.

I could easily see my kids doing the exact same thing playing in the snow.

Found out my youngest 13 was doing donuts in the fields in his sister's truck in the snow and I had no idea at the time he was out there for an example. I cant get on to them for doing the same things I did and they know I. Did.

So hits really close to home to hear youngsters getting killed just out having fun without a ca free in the world.

This stuff happened then, we just didn’t hear about it unless it was local. Live fast die young was coined a long time ago.

Used to do that on the cemetery roads. Had a line of several sleds to crack the whip with. Lots of sharp curves with tombstones all over the place to try and avoid. A good driver would cause the most crashes......oh well......jk

Two people are looking at murder charges over a similar incident in OKC. The drivers involved were under the influence.

Door handles and back bumper “skitching” was a common thing growing up looking back that door handle thing was not very bright with all of the bad possible outcomes none of it was wise.

We used to pull each other on a car hood behind a pickup truck.....Took out a couple mailboxes, and a dog....But it was the 70's, so that makes it okay, Lol.

That’s terrible and to think how many times we pulled people down the hard road on a car hood behind a truck growing up

I look back on the things I did from my teens to late 20s. How I am alive is nothing short of a miracle.

Gramps used to pull us all over town with his Buick LeSabre.

Get the sled out of the basement, cabbage on to some clothesline rope, yeehaw.



Of course we never went fast enough to injure anyone, cause gramps might spill his Blackberry Brandy.

Sad deal. Saw this go by the house last weekend. Waited to hear sirens. Thankfully didn't happen.
