Getting to be a toss up nowadays if the truck will rust out or the transmission/engine will puke first.

have you tried oiling the trailer

get them new and fluid film them heavy inside every tube and rail you can get in ?

then wash them come spring and fluid film heavy again in September?

if you are only getting 5 years just waste oil might even be an option spray them down heavy in late September
