Numerous counties in nine states have already declared themselves to be Second Amendment Sanctuaries, including 35 out of Colorado’s 64 counties; 62 out of Illinois’ 102 counties; 30 out of 33 of New Mexico’s counties; 52 out of New York’s 62 counties opposing that state’s SAFE Act; and 24 out of Washington’s 39 counties.

And 35 states, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures, “have approved … publicly available medical marijuana/cannabis programs.”"

While this is fact, immigration effects all states and the country as a whole.
Marijuana , is looked at as about the same as alcohol , each state has it's own laws on it.
While the federal government actually has control of it.
Via taxes and income revenue.
Much like cigarettes , state taxes plus federal taxes, each state is different.
Remember when people were caught buying cigarettes in , say South Carolina , and bring them to a northers state?
Taxes were cheaper there, and that's both state and federal taxes being cheated on.
So to compare illegal immigration to other statues , isn't the same.
