Oh, well. I'm a preterist. I believe most prophecy is already fulfilled. In preterism, the 144,000 in Revelation are interpreted as a symbolic number representing the faithful remnant of 1st-century Jewish Christians sealed and preserved from the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. Oh, and the rapture isn't in the Bible. I'll be ducking now, as you
all hurl expletives at me....

Seriously, it's not...I know the verse you're thinking of. It's about those who remain meeting Jesus and remaining on earth, while evil is removed, not the other way around.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

If you are talking about the millennium the devil is removed but not evil. Man is perfectly capable of that on his own, That brings up the subject of the Levitical system and remembrance of Jesus and the remembrance of sin, as children will be being born in that 1000 yrs. But that is another can of worms.

If you are talking about the millennium the devil is removed but not evil. Man is perfectly capable of that on his own, That brings up the subject of the Levitical system and remembrance of Jesus looking back with animal sacrifice. But that is another can of worms.

We are in the millennium.

If we are in the millennium then that means I have missed the catching away and without hope. My faith has been made shipwreck!
Paul had that problem with Alexander the copper smith and Hymenaeus telling people the resurrection was already past. Usually that is brought up about being divorced and remarried is a perpetual sin.

I missed the 7 years.......I missed the Jews turning toward Christ and the return of Christ and the associated bloodshed. Pretty sure we have not missed the tribulation and are not in the millennial reign.
