Got his license here in pa. Any time I go to penndot for commercial license stuff there is always people there thst can't speak English. How did they pass the test? Can they read "stop"?

That happened about 5 miles from my house. It happened right in front of my nephew's house. It's sad because 4 Americans are dead for absolutely no reason.

Acceptable collateral damage to create a new voting block for you know which side of the isle.

I believe the test could be read to them, I think that was changed though.

We need some common sense restrictions on who can enter our country, such as basic proficiency in English, no criminal record, basic reading and math skills, no serious health issues and a 100 average IQ or higher, so we know they can learn. Any conviction for a crime while here should result in immediate permanent expulsion. Being here, for an alien is a valuable privilege, not a right. There's more decent people who want to come here, than there is room for people, so only the best potential new citizens should be allowed to come. Family members of immigrants should only be allowed to come if they pass those same standards. No benefits should be give to aliens, they didn't earn.

Bob_Iowa , the federal reg for class A drivers has been read and understand English since at least 1981. You can have your regular license test read to you in a lot of states but even before CDL started in 90 or 91, I am not sure exactly, reading and speaking English was a D.O.T. reg to operate commercial interstate vehicles. For what ever reason it stopped being enforced several years ago.

Trucks are used dozens of times a year in Muslim terrorist attacks. There was 27 terrorist attacks like that between November 2024 and May of 2025. I don't think foreign nationals from countries that are breeding grounds for terrorists should be allowed to drive trucks in the US. I don't think people from those countries should be allowed in to the US at all. We can get plenty of less risky people from countries that have similar values to ours.

Danny addresses the CDL requirements to read English. But as for a regular they don't need to. Back when traffic signs were designed in this country literacy was not at as high a level and so signs had to have specific shapes and colors. This is why a stop sign is an octagon and Yield sign is a point down triangle. You don't have to be able to read the words on them, you are supposed to recognize the shapes. Now actually being able to read the streets signs and find an address you are delivering to? Yeah that kinda requires reading English, but I guess they all have a GPS yabbering at them nowadays.

But we have alot more signs now. Road construction, crash ahead signs. Right lane closed ahead. But its not just illegals, work on a road crew for an hour and u will see how dumb people are. Only thing important is them and getting there fast.

Back when I was the receiving manager, I couldn’t control who was bringing in incoming freight, more than half were foreign drivers who spoke little to no English. We only removed the material from the trailer, dunnage was their responsibility. I had to call the police multiple times to have some of these idiots removed as they would not leave the premises or got aggressive.

When I took over the shipping department and controlled who was handling our finished goods, the first thing I did was notify the brokers that the drivers they sent to pick up loads would be a reflection upon them. I had to send away only a few trucks and black balled a couple brokers before suddenly all the drivers became American citizens. We paid a bit more for freight but easily recouped that with less damaged goods and fewer missed deliveries that would result in us paying for the crane charges.

We have a one way road for incoming and outgoing trucks. Clearly marked with multiple signs. Almost daily there is a rig that pulls into the exit and the guards won’t open the gait so they have to back up a couple hundred yards with incoming traffic. Turns into a poop show everytime.

Heard on FOX this morning that it wasn't required that they could speak English only mattered that they could read and understand the signs. How does that make sense?
