Think im busy , 6 new ones from 4 last night till now , one ewe still working on number 2 and a another ewe just starting. Dang kid is off judging a show and dads playing shepherd.
Plus the 4 in the barn he lambed.

I dont watch tv sports. Tried watching the alternative half time show on you tube. Got through the first song. 2nd was some kind of rap nonsense. So nope. Didnt watch that either.

Dad had been missing a 3-4week old calf, for a few days. Heard a noise while throwing hay and found the calf, upside down wedged in between 2 big squares. Apparently it had gotten in there and kicked and squirmed enough to go upside down. Got her out and in the house. Been single digit cold here, she was in bad shape. But he warmed her up and got some milk in her. Standing on her own and might go back out today. Curious if Momma is still milking?

Reminds me of the guy who had goats in his house. The house reeked.
A neighbor asked the guy, "What about the smell with the goats?"
The guy said, "The goats don't seem to mind it."
