You guys that have used them, what or how do you use them , stack three or four then add brush over them? Or have you found ways that seem to work better than other ways? Any tips or tricks??

I don't think wild quail will use pallet brush piles. In all the years I've been Beagling, and for all the Rabbitat piles I've built, I don't remember a single quail using them. There's another post about this.

I saw the other thread, I was just curious if anyone had better success with how they placed the pallet prior to covering them, do you stack them do you use a single one or four or so then stack two high, just curious.

stack them 4-5 high and put tar paper or tin on the top, and then cover with brush, I pick up old Christmas tree, from town I have seen a huge increase in small game

Posted in the other thread about drain tile and pallets.

I get 4'x8' hardwood from work and put them in areas of willow or box elder shoots.
I go 2 high with 4"×4" hardwood below them.
Next thing is hinge cutting the brush around it and folding on top.
You only want to cut 1/2 way through when pushing over to keep them alive.
Properly done you'll have a brush piles with sprouts coming out the hinge cutting.
Keeping them alive is important for winter browsing.

This works great in small high points in marshy or wet areas, with grain feilds nearby

I only used singles with one end up on a log or rock.

i would also suggest being on slightly raised ground because rabbits generally wont sit where they will get flooded out or raise their young
