Your picture of the nose caught wolf is a great testament to how well a Alaska #9 comes up out of the snow ! One thing is for sure there wasn't any foot damage on it how was skinning out the head on it ? Probably not to much different than any other wolf . In the hills 20 miles off the road and very few people wander this far unless in track rig in summer or snowmachine in winter. I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

Now I have to get busy transferring photos off old SD cards from the line. Will take a while. I have a short video on one of me releasing a small black bear I caught, (3 times!). I released it twice. Not for the faint of heart! Not sure how to go about posting the video here, but will get it on my computer first, then figure it out. Just doing what I want now.
