Got home from work today and there was a grinner sitting in the farm field behind the house. Not moving at all nor eating on anything. Normal? Temps got up a bit today.

Not uncommon here to see them on a warmer winter day out in the open, even in the snow.

I swear that possums are getting more aggressive and less likely to "play possum". I have absolutely hammered them on my home place since Christmas. Today I had one in a cage trap that was acting more like a (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) feral cat. It was running back and forth bouncing off the ends, I honestly didn't think a possum could even move that fast. They used to just stay curled up and hiss at you, but these this year seem to have a lot more fight in them.

Since the brutal cold here I haven't seen Percy come out from under the shed, maybe tonight, supposed to be in the high 30's
