Drive it, with the head lights on. If it runs like it supposed to, then turn your head lights off if it starts running rough, bucking and just not right then you know for sure it your voltage regulator. Turn your headlights back on and it will smooth out.

Purge all the old fuel, change injector, fuel pump, air filter, sparkplug. If its still acting up then on to the electronics.
