I read that automakers will no longer be forced to manufacture cars that automatically shut down instead of idling.

I’d like to see the realistic stats on how anything is saved with that ridiculous feature in the end. If you burn up starters with that dumb idea it has to eliminate any saving or carbon footprint BS they try to say it avoids and increases everything it’s supposed to be helping. Scam right there.

Wolfie..
Don't you want to be able to see the river catch fire? Its pretty cool when it happens. I know I miss seeing wind blow big balls of foam around.
Used to love pulling away from red light with old Mack fire engine. Throttle up Big Detroit.. Fill car next to me in turn lane with window full black soot. That stuff younger folks never pleasure of doing. City buses were really treat to be stuck behind.
Be nice to burn old rail ties in out door stove. Cheap throw lots heat.

No on the truck and they still dump in the river through planed failures that "accidentally " make a spill. They pay a fine thats cheaper than any other way to get rid of it "correct"the failure point until the next time its built up and "breaks" again.

Republicans were the ones who passed the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, NEPA and other laws designed to protect the Earth. Actual Republicans.

Don't get me wrong though. I miss the old fuel cans and hate the emissions BS--mostly on my tractors and pickups.

Might be some interesting imports now lots of great trucks they won’t /can’t sell here now because of the restrictions. My little D50 type trucks are still being made and sold in other countries under different models. Might not be a bad deal if they keep it realistic and many of the regulations were pretty ridiculous.

Being able to buy 2 stroke outboards again would be great!

4strokes are just to heavy, to hard to start, less low end pop

They still sell them everywhere else around the world
