It has been 2 weeks--I am afraid that with her age and health problems, she is probably no longer with us.

I agree, I think she has been permanently gone for some time. And I don't believe any of the ransom attemps were from anyone involved. I believe they were opportunistic attempts to take advantage of the situation. I think its 50-50 whether they ever find her body.

I pray for her and her family.

This is absolutely monopolizing the news and it's "crickets" about Epstein.

They usually start looking at family and the last person to see victim, then work outward from there. In this case the son in law was both. They have not said that family has been ruled out but also never said he was a person of interest. How could he not be?

Getting alot of coverage from the media how many other people that get kidnapped or come up missing gets that kind of coverage.

Yeah, fer sure. I think the family is getting special treatment from LE as well.

I think it got botched as soon as the nappers figured she needed her medicine, but it was to late, she's gone and so are they!

Them ransom notes are idiots doing their stupid thing trying to take advantage of the situation or just horsing around !

I think it was a botched house burglary. They found a blood trail which was hers, why do you hurt somebody enough to make them bleed for an abduction? And then all the ransom notes seem to be opportunistic. When proof of life or having her is asked for crickets.

I feel very bad for her family but it all points to her being murdered.

I truly hope it works out for her and her family but I have my doubts that she is alive.

I do question how much time, money and effort is being spent on this case--versus what anyone of our mothers would get. Regardless, hoping she is found safe.

Can almost agree , at least on the attention given to this matter.
But it also reminds me of another case that deflected attention of what was going on in government, like the SAVE ACT!

I believe she died the first nite when this all took place. Most likely a home invasion gone bad or a revenge hit to get back at one of the family members.

Just my speculation.

She had too many health issues to keep her for a long term ransom hold. That money should have changed hands in a couple days if that was the purpose of this situation. Doesn't look good for the family.

The amount of coverage this gets is disgusting. Plenty of people have been kidnapped over the years without national coverage. Because her daughter is semi-famous? OR-look over here at this everybody! While things happen over there….

I’m going to say that she’s more than likely perished.

I took my buddy home a few days ago, after a javelina hunt. He lives less than a mile from her house. Still could not get close for the cars, media, etc. The local sheriff is an embarrassment.

One of my wifes cousins or aunts im not sure. Down the line somewhere always was at family gatherings. Got abducted and car stolen. Made the local news for a day. She was not missing long found shot dead and left in a corn field. Was a sweet older lady had her grand daughter while her daughter was at work. Daughter came to pick up the baby and mom/grandma was gone as was her car. Baby was asleep in the crib.

A small family compound/settlement is there several houses and a cousin of another trashy relatives boyfriend stole one of the girls boyfriends guns went next door and took sandy and her car. Killed her down the road in a corn field. Copes had him with in a few days after he attempted to kill another girl that got away.

Not related to anyone famous enough to make national news. All because some rough family lived next door that had some syco visiting.

My take, burglary gone wrong, or someone in the family is involved with some bad people, gambling debt, drugs , etc., and this is all about revenge.

As others have said, the amount of coverage this has gotten, is to divert attention away from other news cycles, and if our mothers were abducted we would barely get 1 minute of news coverage.

I am very sure or believe that within the first few hours she was no longer pulling in oxygen. The very same as with child abductions and young lady abductions. Cant believe the media is so honed in on it but, it does detract or distract those seeking all the names of the perverts in the Epstein files. I am not one to look at such nonsense.

We had a women go missing here a couple days after the Guthrie lady. No FBI no news coverage. Hmmmmm!

My wife would be better qualified--she has been watching the news more lately. I've been slammed at work.

But I suspect she is very likely dead based on what I have seen/read.

I agree that a disproportionate amount of resources have been spent on this case and it distracted everyone for a week or so. Not sure if that is a coincidence--or just a function of celebrity connection.

One thing this has done by watching this---younger family members need to keep a close eye on the elderly members.
