Hy-Vee is a regional supermarket chain HQ'ed in Iowa. I don't know how far out it goes in various states but in my Sioux Falls metro, its the largest grocery outlet besides Walmart, although there are a couple other players here.

Anyway, we buy a lot at Hy-Vee and they have a "Fuel Saver' card which can be used at their own motor vehicle pumps or with Casey's, which is a C-store that's also based out of Iowa. Purchases at Hy-Vee add cents off a gallon of fuel until they reach a point where the points expire. The max amount of fuel that can be bought at one time is 20 gallons. Yesterday, we had $1.53 in points that would start falling off so I took my beast, an empty 5 gallon "can", and had the one kid follow me to fill up from the same hose (but on the other side of the island).

His car took about 4 1/2 gallons to top off, I filled my gas can another 4 1/2 gallons, and then put 11 gallons in my wheels. It ended up coasting us 82 cents a gallon for E10. I smiled when I left the bedroom town Casey's. Sometimes simple things are pretty good .

Noice,,, WA and APz gas are climbing again. I paid 3.89 today.
Our grocery store does points. Max 1.00 of 25 gallon max.

Bummer on the $3.89 today.

I guess in Washington, you have to pay for the People's Republic west of the Cascades...

We will never see it that low in PA. That's only a little more than our tax per gallon.

That is awesome!!! I don't do any cards etc. from stations to get a reduced cost per gallon but I should. We are about 2.50¢

Fascinating I was getting 50cents off at schell stations due to points on my visa card my card was "frozen" due to suspicious activity and issued a new card minus the points
On the other hand due to low gas prices last fall our gov. raised the gas tax 21.4 cents to which my progressive friends replied "What difference does it make gas is lower then its ever been"

Ours is rising, back up to 2.89
