tlguy OP trapper Joined: May 2013 Green Bay, Wisconsin	That spearhead is probably about 14-15" wide with 10" or so tines. We're allowed a spearhead up to 18" wide. Definitely a little spot on a big spot, it's like duck hunting looking up your chimney. No tip ups while I'm spearing, gotta stay laser focused!

tlguy OP trapper Joined: May 2013 Green Bay, Wisconsin	Well I had a chance today. Had one swim through around 11am, threw the spear and missed. We're only allowed to spear from 7am to 1pm. Weather is warm, mid 40s today and tomorrow and mid 50s Monday. Not ideal for anything ice related! Back at it tomorrow.

bblwi trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 East-Central Wisconsin	One of the guys who has helped us with sap got a sturgeon yesterday. There are 5 guys using the one shack and 3 have got sturgeons. Another group with several shacks have 19 guys and they have speared 11 as of yesterday. Several feel the season will be over soon, maybe even today when they reach the number of adult females they have set for this season. Bryce
