trapper les, you find where our higher value blood can be sold, please let us know (or maybe not, perhaps its another way to track us).

I first started giving blood in high school and with B+, its sort of in demand so I've been called numerous of times. My local blood bank back then said that if you gave at least once a year, your family would be covered if they needed any blood.

But as with most organizations and bureaucracies that get bigger (my metro has nearly 2.5X grown in size since I graduated high school), things get lazy and/or too complex and that thing about covering your family with a donation went by the way side a good while ago. They may not even give out milestone tee shirts anymore. No, blood doners around here are just a free commodity for them to harvest.

They used to bring the "Blood mobile" out to my place of work so it was easy to give but now I would have to do some work to give blood. But I probably should to be a good citizen and do it .Someone I know shed HIS blood for me so getting tapped a bit once an while and it can save someone's life, I should be a lot less selfish in my ways...

P.S. As for jabs, I've never even had a "flu" shot. Not because, at least for most of the time, I was against them but because I simply don't get actual influenza all that much. I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've had real flu in the past 50+ years that I can remember.
