Either Manitoba or Sask.

I can Google and find the obvious ones. Anybody have any "under the radar" places that are considered very good to excellent?

Bernie, if you see this I lost the pm you sent me a couple years ago.

Looking for archery hunting.

I’ve done some business with DOA outfitters.
https://doaoutfitters.ca/manitoba-bear-hunts/
He generally runs over 50 baits in the area. Not sure who his guides are, but Darryl (don’t challenge him to an arm wrestle) is a stand up guy doing a few hunts for charities. There’s some world class bear taken every spring if the hunter can pass up on the first bear they see…..lol.
Their lodges start about 20 miles north of the border, but he might be all booked up. Cancelation slots will be cheap.
There is a real wing nut outfitter in the area. He harmless, just a bit of an idiot and doesn’t think. I won’t mention his name.

I have hunted with East Manitoba Outfitters twice. Had good hunts both times.

Slims camp in northern Sask. They just opened it up a few years ago to bear hunting. Check it out if you want. I know of a few big black ones have come out of there.

I may have missed it, but not sure what kind of bear you want to hunt. But every time I go we use NORTH ISLAND GUIDE OUTFITTERS in Vancouver Island British Columbia. It is a coastal black bear hunt. Some of the biggest black bears you will find. Five star lodging and food. Dave Fyfe (owner) is 100% a class act. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Yoteboy,

Was the business open before covid, or did it start up after covid.

They were always open but the new owners wanted to open it up to hunters instead of just fishing ( I believe ). If it matters to you, it’s accessible by truck ( not fly in). 6+ hrs north of Saskatoon. My son & I fished there last year.
