Was that the Australian beef thing? I was pretty young, but I seem to remember something about that.

Pretty sure McDungpiles doesn't really qualify as food.

Had to inspect a couple local McD's this past fall. I was actually amazed how CLEAN the kitchen areas were and how orderly and fresh the ingredients were. Totally serious.

I try to avoid fast food, and Macs is not my first pic, but after seeing the kitchen conditions, it does seem to taste a little better when I do go there.


I do enjoy a filet-o-fish or a big mac every now and then.

I like their vanilla shake. The rest not so much. We have a Subway next door to them. I prefer to get a vanilla shake at McDs and a Subway tuna on wheat.

The only thing I ever get there is a fillet of fish sandwich and a small coffee, maybe once a year if I'm on the road...everything else there has gone through the roof cost wise...

Yeah, they were advertising USDA inspected beef. Which was true but they were wording it like the beef was actually from the US. It was actually Australian beef, mostly wild cattle by our standards. I thought McDonalds is still buying most of their beef from AU but could be wrong.

Your better off to just go hungry for a few hours.

They just can’t get a special order correct it’s like rocket science to get a plain double burger made up. I stopped for a McMuffin and a hash brown years back it was like $8 I said keep it.

This thread reminded me I have not had a food order from McDonalds since before COVID. I do get a senior coffee there now and then.

Personally, I don't eat fast food of any kind as it is literally processed junk. No nutritional value. But to your point, yes that is pretty poor service.

I agree with Trapper7 I like their shakes too bu thave had nothing else in years. Just get a shake.....jk
