The video in the link of the news news said he lived with the dogs owners that were not there at the time and he routinely played with the dog. So he lived with the dog even though it was not his dog. If the reporting was correct.

While I don't often find myself in agreement with you, in this instance i believe that you have nailed it on this breed. Just as retrievers were selected to retrieve and pointers were selected to point, pitbulls were selected to snap and kill. During this selection process, breeders did not waste dog food on those which did not perform these desired traits. Do all direct descendants of retrievers retrieve? No. Do all direct descendants of pitbulls snap and kill? No. The specific tenancies are embedded in each breed. This should not be ignored.

3togo trapper 3 Joined: Jan 2018 Henry Co, IL	If you search for a dog to adopt on Pet Finder you will discover that a large number of dogs in shelters are pit bull crosses with something else. I have friends that own very friendly pit bulls, BUT I don't think the average person should own one based on the number of incidents that get reported of attacks on people/owners.
