Ive got a spot someone wants me to trap i know they have dug the dams out at least 3 times and they've rebuilt them.when they dig the dams out does it spook the beaver and make them harder to trap or doesn't bother them?

No...it doesn't spook them from trapping, but if the water drains fast and almost completely...they may move.

Also, removal of the dam(s) with heavy equipment might result in water too deep to work with. If you're gonna trap them, tell owner to let them start dam building and then you make you're move as soon as they start rebuilding.

You'll need foodholds and drowning rigs, but also set all narrow, shallow channels with BGs & crossovers with snares or BGs, too.

Agree, no. BUT it can and will throw them off a "normal" pattern of activity and just make them more alert.

I like my beaver fat, happy, and dumb. Well, maybe not fat, lol.
