I figure you are in a very tough spot and reaching out for some advice, My advice would to talk it over privately with a close and trusted friend who really knows the situation rather than an anonymous bunch of keyboard cowboys aching to make statements that are of absolutely no help or solace to you, but bring entertainment to them and their ilk.

Usually it does not. I watched guys get back together with their wife after a separation only to regret it….

Sometimes it’s “ cheaper to keep her” than handling all the routine financial responsibilities by oneself.

If you are a regular attendant/member at a church… don’t be afraid to ask your pastor for help.
You’d be surprised at how many pastors do study on trying to help their congregation on matters like this.

It might give you time to hide some assets. She can only take half of what she knows about.

Pretty sure that won’t work out but I’m just a dumb farmer. The best advice I ever got before I was married was from a long time Baptist pastor and family friend. He said “ never believe in divorce, don’t believe in it like you believe in Christ” it’s served me well.
