A friend of mine asked me to come by their pet shop on the outskirts of town. They have been having lambs missing from their small field. They have caught 3 fox themselves and think its the fox that is their problem. But these are 25+ pound lambs disappearing with just a little blood left behind..no holes in the fence, its four foot chain link all the way around, no dig unders just one spot between two steel poles that the fox have been sliding through, about 5 inches wide. I told him i think it was bobcats as the lambs are to big to be pulled through the opening i found. something has to be dragging them over the fence..no tracks anywhere there, however I did find bobcat tracks a half mile away at a farm pond i am removing the beaver from. How would i go about catching this cat. I am thinking that setting up the farm pond and catching him there is a better option than fighting all the feral housecats around the pet store. Any suggestions?
