Ohio court says ALL cats are protected… this might impact us on how we deal with feral cats. Preaching to the choir here about feral cats,,, because we absolutely know quite well of what they are capable of doing.
These meatheads lack common freaking sense.
The so called catch/spay/nueter/ release crap still don’t help wildlife or the potential for spread of disease.

The shut up part is getting harder to do these days with cameras everywhere. I always assume that I'm on at least three ring cameras and pass as many flock cameras.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least that someone has one pointed at my backyard.

Been that way here for awhile, better not hurt kitty or give it PTSD....and yes, cameras and do gooders everywhere....

Trapping animals isn't legally considered animal cruelty, so trapping a cat doesn't matter.

You would think. I got a magistrate judge in my county that told me from the bench, state law does not apply in Spalding county over trapping cats.

Years back way back the IL DNR did a trappers survey about feral cats after that a state representative used that data to try to push trapping regulations not considering the damage to wildlife that was being done by wild felines.

If nothing is done with feral cats just wait till the coyote population exsplodes here in WNY once the ground freezes up and the mice and voles have an advantage the coyotes take to hunting the subdivisons
for outside cats of any kind ...and if they are left to reproduce outside this will give the coyotes an unbelievable food source

Luckily I don't live in OH........... oh never mind it said CRUELTY to feral cats, it didn't say anything about eliminating vermin.

Was it in the 1920/30's people would sell feral/house cats fur and clothing was made out of it under the name "American Sable" ? I know they did it just can't remember what the name was.
