Mo says they try to keep prices in line with what other states are charging, and that seems to be the case.

$300 bucks for one bird in a constant declining turkey population I’m out they should be lowering the price that’s nuts.
In SD it’s, $28 for a resident 1 bird $40 2 birds $121 for 1 tag $151 for 2 birds NR,

Don’t take this as fact. Price in Missouri for out of state is fairly accurate but the way I read it it is still 2 birds only one the first week like before and then the next two week it one a day with a Grand total of the limit of two birds. As far as limits it’s been this way for several years. Someone correct me if I am wrong. On the east side of the state we do not see even close to the birds we saw in the 80s. So a total of two male birds per spring season. bearded hen is still legal I think but I never shoot one in spring

Mo says they try to keep prices in line with what other states are charging, and that seems to be the case. Except for non resident fishing is 61 plus 24 for a trout stamp Illinois non resident fishing is 31

Thanks big Sam they need to update there MDC web page. When you posted that I had not heard that change so I went to their web page and they must not have updated it yet. That’s why I said don’t take my response as fact. At my age I really don’t keep up with regulations that much. Thanks You are welcome, sir. I had heard about the change and the first place I looked didn't show it. I had to look a little further to verify it

I believe non-resident is $65.00 in Wisconsin. Plus $3.00 application and a $5.25 stamp. Gets you 1 gobbler. Kids under 12 license is $7.00. This is for spring hunting.
Zim With the proximity and the cost, it sounds like I need to make some friends in Wisconsin. Lol

I go to MO to hunt with a buddy he will be coming here if we are going to hunt together now or we can try some other states. I think MO is a great place but the tick selection that come in all sizes and chiggers eat me alive, I’ve got scars from last year and the year before still. Might still be having blood issues from that buffet them chiggers made of me last year.

Bird populations are dropping in many places maybe they want to discourage the average hunters and cater to the elite crowd but money always talks to them.

I'm getting in the mood to chase spring gobblers. If things go right it looks like I'll get to go to Missouri for a few days this spring. I noticed that the price has gone up to a little over $300 for a non resident, as well as only allowing us one bird. It got me wondering what other states cost. Last I checked, I think MN is $26 for residents and $96 for non residents. What does your state charge? I think $26 is ridiculous. Should be 1 a day included with the small game tag.
