Klubertanz , but I've never seen that type of ringer.
I got my J hooks and rings from them.

Most ringers take 14 ga rings that’s not a net ringer is it they take a huge ring. Klubertanz seems to be out of the game so check with Bass rabbit supply maybe.

14 GA will work just fine, 1/2 x 1 is a weaker cage wire because of the grabbing area for a big buck raccoon !
1X1 Is a better choice, makes the trap stiffer and stronger.
Harder for a catch to grab and get a good strong pull.

Do you use J hooks for the trap seam?
Or just rings?
I used to use rings to tie on the trap frame, J hooks to seal the cage jacket .
Makes it a lot stronger.

I hope the coons are smaller down there a lot depends on the weld job and if it’s galvanized before or after it’s been welded.

You want a big business or just local?
Build a good trap, and go national.
There's so many needs for cage traps any more.
But they have to be strong.

Always heard they ran smaller you should be fine then if it’s decent wire. The last feed store wire I bought the welds broke trying to shape it to go over the frame. What are you using for a brake I made a wooden then my buddy had a slick setup that was faster I’d run my blanks to the colony and had them bent there.

The Hutterites use the small rings and the yellow gun like shown they just ring away lots of them to get the holding power of a 12.5 hand ringer tool. After a while the smaller rings can come loose the 12.5 rings hold up a lot longer and require little maintenance so it’s a choice of speed over strength and the application route a guy takes.

That gun will take what rings that fit it not just any rings most need a sleeve of rings but maybe a guy could hand feed other sizes into it one at a time. I researched the heck out of ringers looking for a 12.5 model with no luck but I hope yours will do the job I just hand squeezed the 12.5 ones onto my cages. I add rings to repair the smaller rings way more often than the HD size rings.

One thing with the blunts is sometimes the ends meet and won’t pass to clamp onto the frame not sure how that would impact a tool or if it would be a pain, it’s a pain on a guys hand when that happens. Speed over quality choices will be made.

You need to find rings for that gun, the newer guns rings are mostly standard on a taped sleeve, I have 9/16 inch and 3/4, you need a gun for each size though. I get my rings in SS, from Ketchum supply in Mass. they have both the sharps and blunts, the sharps, are offset so slide past on the ends and form a tight ring. For 14 gage wire you only need the 9/16, the 3/4 will be a little loose, but is good for the 12 gage wire
