better than finding them stuck in the bottom of your foot. thats where i usually found mine.
One of the first puppy teeth I have came from my first lab. Was wrasling with her like do all my dogs. Tooth got stuck in my cuff of my flannel shirt came out.
I got a dog thing in foot story for you. Really should be whole different post. Being I got no where to go. If I dogleg off in different direction guess it my post so here goes.
Story time. Lol
Years ago now was in Iowa with couple friends. I had 3 labs at that time 1 black two yellows. The black was a machine at flushing pheasant and we were planning to walk up some birds. We start and I didn't get to far into the hunt. Dang if I couldn't feel picker in my foot. Back at the truck after first push. Off comes my boot off with sock. Wipe bottom of my foot. Give sock quick look over. Hand in boot feels nothing, shake it out. All back together we do another push. Of course my picker is back.. so this goes on whole hunt boot off whip my foot check everything. No picker to find.
I put up with that the whole day could still feel it when got home.
So the younger more nimble me. I park my butt solid get my boot off get my sock off. Whipe bottom of my foot only slightly feel the picky spot. So I wrench my foot around got full view of the bottom. I See nothing, wife looks, see nothing. Okay out comes the maglite and there is a blond dog hair. No way. Give it a wipe don't move. You gotta be kidding. Grab the tweezers grab the hair. You guessed it hair is definitely connected. Here I had one the yellow labs hairs walked at least 1/4 inch into bottom of my foot. Tell me how that works.
Funny thing about that is. While it was the first time it was not the last. Couple months later my wife had a hair in her foot. After that it was my son's turn and then my daughter. My hunting partner at the time also had a yellow lab. His wife ended up with a hair in her foot.
We are pretty sure that it was the younger yellow who's hair was the issue. She had a bit stiffer coat than her mom our older yellow.
I have had hairs walked into my foot 2 times since that first time. First two times I'm sure was our yellow. 3rd time Im not sure which hound hair came from. Might been winter deer hair.
Anyone else ever get the mystery picker. Turns out be a hair sticking you.
Tell me how one lines that up to happen.
