I always figured house cat would taste better than coon anyway.

For 40 some years any coon I've ever sold or gifted has a hind foot on, but the likeness was supposedly of a dog. Sold some to a seafood store a few years and they always asked for them that way...

A friend of mine cut the feet of 8 opossums I skinned and gave them to a black guy as rabbits. I think he would have eaten them knowing they were opossums too though.

We were working at a power plant as security and I got the opossums out of a well field planted in Winter wheat, with a tire iron and a flash light.

Sold many thousands of coon carcasses when we had a coon market. Left all 4 feet on them unless one of them was pretty rough. It’s a dying thing. Dang shame.

All I ever did was get the guts out and bag them up and in the freezer. Left all the feet on them.

Always left a hind foot on them. Even the guys I sell to on a regular basis.

Couldn't give one away here. Foot or no foot lol

Left all four feet on but one of the feet would be sticking out of the bag. Once frozen that bag less foot made a good handle for carrying.

I also leave all 4 feet on.......but don't mess much with the meat market......
