Hes on his way home from mississippi and the rear end came out of his truck. Originally he was on mile marker 13 on 65.
State farm sent 2 wreckers neither of which were licensed in kentucky so he had to limp it 9 miles to the biwling green cracker barrel parking lot where hes waiting on a buddy from wv(7 hrs out) to come help him. Hes a mechanic. He told him what to do to bypass something so he was able to limp down the road to bowling green
Hes just settin and waitin. I feel sorry for him..but it coulda been worse.
His buddies ETA is 6 pm. Hes been broke down since 830

Say a little prayer for him..hes not the most patient person in the world....

its a 2023 and even new trucks can have problems.

If the rear differential isn’t locked up, on some models you can disconnect the rear driveshaft and drive it as a front wheel drive.

I have had a couple break downs while on the road many miles away. I feel the aggrivation along with him.

if I had to wait 10 hours at a cracker barrel I would be 3 chicken fried steaks in when help got there.

New truck 2 years old should be under warranty. I think all brands have road side assistance on brand names dime. Should be a number to call and they come get it and haul it away and fix it.

He can get some good bbq while he's waiting.

Ya!! Unless Osky he is over the miles but still under the years, usually which ever comes first. Still drive train usually is at least up too 5 years full coverage 3/36 for a lot of brands.
