beartooth trapr OP trapper B Joined: May 2011 Montana	Has anyone ever upgraded a 5 speed transmission into a older pickup. I got a 1983 chevy k20 4x4 with a 4 speed in it. And been thinking about putting a nv4500 5 speed in it. The 350 engine and 208 transfer case will bolt up. Just got to make sure I find a 32 spline shaft is all. I'll have to build a new tranny mount, and trim floor pan out for the shifter. By looking at utube videos. Would like to swap out transfer case for a 205 also but the 208 is a fresh rebuilt one. Thank's all. Let me sugar coat this

logger coffey trapper L Joined: Jan 2014 kentucky	Advance adapters will have everthing you need . if your budget can manage it . go with the np205 transfer . there bomb proof .
