ABeardedTrapper OP trapper A Joined: Dec 2018 Swords Creek, VA	My wife and I recently became empty nesters and will celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, so we wanted to do something a little different to celebrate. While at the NTA in Harrisonburg last year I randomly walked into a building that had a vendor who builds AR rifles, and offered hunting trips. After discussing with my wife we decided to go on a Florida gator and hog hunt. We have had a blast last week Angie got a 8’2” gator and a pig and I got a 8’9” gator and a pig. Our rifles performed flawlessly and the outfitter was top notch. The last day of our hunt a Florida state trapper came into camp with some gators he had captured and had to relocate, his father was a fur buyer from Big Stone Gap VA, small world. Very nice very knowledgeable guy. We also went fishing out in the Gulf. The fishing was slow due to the cold weather but we had a blast. We also did some sight seeing while we were there. We visited manatee park and barefoot beach.
