Grok says at least 350 mosques have been burned so far. That's a good start. The second largest religion in Iran is Christianity, though it's only a few percent.
Savell, were your people Pentecostal Baptists? Baptists aren't real common up here compared to other flavors of Christians. I've only ever met a few and don't know any now. I know mostly Roman Catholics, Methodists and Lutherans. For the most part, they think they are very different from each other, but seen very similar to me.
Keith …. Southern Baptist on Moms side … Dads side was nondenominational you could say lol … then my Aunt married a preacher…. He was Calvinist… that’s the church we went to when I was young

Iran may no longer be a Muslim country after this. 61 mosques were burned in the last few weeks in Iran. Asmongold just reported that the Iranian people are burning the mosques and Muslim schools. From polling data, there's nearly sixty million people in Iran who don't support the Islamists.
Keith Historically, Persia was pretty much accepting of all religions, though Zoroastrianism was the primary one. Zoroastrianism is far more accepting of and in line with Judeo-Christian ethics than Islamic ones. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoroastrianism

My mom was a Methodist and non religious. My dad was a Catholic and non religious. We were somewhat raised Catholic. We barely went to church outside of school. I went to 8 years of Catholic grade school, 4 years of Catholic high school, 3 1/2 years of Catholic college (I graduated a semester early) and 1 year of Catholic law school. It never stuck.
My next youngest brother was an agnostic, bordering on being an Atheist. He's now in some sort of nondenominational Baptist like church. They made him an elder. No one else in my immediate family is very religious, though we all believe in God.
Most of my friends are actually religious. One of my best friend's kids, when they were little, they are huge now, one is 6'7", would watch me when we prayed at supper like I was going to burst into flames. It was funny. My friend wanted me to be Godfather for his oldest daughter, but wanted me to go to church, which I wouldn't do. I am Godfather for his youngest son.
His oldest daughter married a guy who is a 6' 9" police officer. She's 6'2". She has two sons now and they are the biggest baby and toddler I have ever seen in my life. Her oldest is 3 and tall enough to be 9 years old.
Her husband's cousin is the most massive person I have ever seen. He's around 7'5" and probably pushing 500 pounds. He has some type of severe autism and rocks back and forth constantly frequently yelling. He was very distracting at their wedding.

Keith I hope you are right, but I would bet against it. We have now made a martyr out of their leader, religious fury can go a long way.

I was in Trinidad Gunschool when the first Iran revolution that put the komeini in charge. There was a contingent of students from there and Iraq. They had their marches and chants, and then got rough with a local girl. We gunsmiths had a few run ins with them. Not the kind of folks I can get along with. I do hope our president helps the people rebuild their own country rather than what the last globalist corrupt political vampires did to other countries and let even worse take over those people. I remember reading O'Connor's hunting stories from that region, it wasn't always a bad place
