I never saw the original post. All I saw was Kieth claiming "5 people..." on two separate threads here.

Calling people out would be saying they're names specifically. Saying there is a clear pattern of 5 individual he has noticed is saying he recognizes a pattern. Thats an observation and not calling anyone out.

Now if they respond and expose themselves thats on them. The kicker is those getting worked up think its them may not even be on that list. Just some form of self doubt or hate possibly.

"Denegrative comments about each other". Anyone naming names of the top 5 devils advocates may be a good way to get a vacation or worse. Everyone who pays attention knows who they are.
The top one made the statement "which of you will send your children to fight in a war"? Nobody is sending their children. A military member voluntarily joins the military by their own accord. An 18 yr old is an adult and makes their own decision. There are actually many young Americans who love to fight. God bless them. Marines, Seals, Special Forces and other special groups train hard and willingly fight for their own country. During WW 2 young men lied about their age and joined the military so they could defend their country. I knew a man that lied and joined the Navy when he was 14. Can you see a 14 yr old today doing that. Nope. Thank God for all the young Americans in the past wars that WANTED to fight and defend their country. Thank you Paul for defending your country, your flag, your President and Israel. And thank you for defending your country as a military member.

I like trapdog1 don’t get me wrong it’s just not a great idea to name names. I honestly can’t think of 5 myself that should be shown the door off hand. Unfortunately the folks they might be thinking about are probably clueless they are in that bracket plus different folks will have a different a top 5 on their list. Dislike of someone VS constantly disruptive behavior intentionally ruining threads is what the top 5 or less is the focus would be beneficial.

Theres a lot of folks I have no interest in dealing with I take the Apache approach they are simply dead to me. LOL When I first came here like many I expected to interact with a group of like minded trappers but that unfortunately was not the case. I found that out quickly and you just either adapt or move along it’s your choice.

Years back there was a good trapper that took the time to do information videos on trapping that he put a lot of time and efforts into making them. One day some punks got on him about who did he think he was making and posting videos on here. Then he was gone and now he doesn’t post any videos like before so negative won it was pathetic that happened.

Another group is folks I just don’t find interesting or that have different priorities no dislike just no interest in their content is all.

I will say that not everyone's list of 5 would be the same or perhaps not even similar. There are certainly people that seem only to post with the intent of agitating. But guess what? Not all of those people are left of center. There are some conservatives as well that never seem to make a post unless it is political in nature.

I can't think of a single person, that's still actively posting anyways, that I feel deserves a permanent ban. But then, that's not my decision to make just like it's not most of yours lol. Just like it's not our decision to make which posts, threads, or people get deleted or put in time out.

Most of the moderators/admin of this site have been doing this job for years and in many cases decades. I may not always agree with every decision that they make.... but they have managed to keep this site not only going but IMO, the best site on the internet, for nearly the past 3 decades. So, shoutout to all the admin/mods for doing this thankless job day after day. I know with people like me and Savell on here you have your hands full!!

Negative. Moderating a forum is pretty dam easy, assuming this one's set up the same as the one I'm part owner of. After threads explode with garbage, for sure it's easier to just blast the whole thing, but I can delete one comment as I try to keep on top of a website I'm supposed to help run. We're all busy, but it's a job......do it or quit. We just did that recently after a tariff thread turned political (go figure)......but it took 3 pages before it went south. The OP gets an email or PM as to why. It isn't hard, it just takes an adult to do it.....lol.
