You will never be locked out of your truck if you simple duct tape a spare key inside your tool box or on the inside of your gas cap cover door. My Ford Ranger with electric door locks has the buttons on the door arm rest and I am always hitting it and locking myself out. My spare key taped inside my tool box has saved me many times.
