When we were thinking of names I told the wife I didn't want him to have to fight because of it, or have a redneck/hillbilly name.

We settled on William for my dads dad and Joseph for her dads dad.

The first words out my SIL's mouth were "awwwww look at little Billy Joe."

Yeah failed on the redneck name there.

The close family are the only ones who call him Billy. Most others call him William.

There is one lady that calls him BJ. He told her when he was 4 or 5 to never call him that again.

She called him BJ about 3 years later. He looked her dead in the eyes and said that's strike 2.

He's going to be 28 in a couple months and she hasn't called him that since.

What could possibly go wrong with this idea?

I named my son and daughter after family. I did try to convince my wife to name our boy Sue. She didn't like the idea.

I am interested in their initials. One of my daugher's has the initials KRO forward and ORK backward. I got my daughter to give my first granddaughter two middle names for the initials of B.E.A.R.

My son's name , the wife named him after me.
Same with my first daughter Amy.
My youngest daughters name is Sarah , Ann, Margret , Grace , our last name.
Her own name with an " h " ( wife picked from the bible ) I then said the wife's name and both her grandmothers should be her name.
So she has 3 middle names.
At her graduation they used her full name, Sarah Ann Margret Grace , last name.

I wanted to name our daughter Bailey twine. But her mom said no! Had to settle with kendell. Cameron, I wanted to name to Atticus Michael but momma said no to that as well.

Best go with Muslim names from here on out so the kids have a chance to slip through the cracks when the take over comes
