Got 22 cats that I'm boraxing today and tomorrow will get them tagged, then off to Idaho. Sometimes I look at them and think they're real nice... and sometime I think less of them....lol

Anyway, they are what they are.

The two on the edge of the table look weird because they're tilted away from the camera...lol.

Thanks, really hope you're right!

...not sure I can trust Savell's response though...he's being nice to everybody lately. grin

I think you’ll be very pleasantly surprised. I sure was from the Montana sale where ours averaged $770.

With all the hype on High Sale Averages, nobody has talked about the low end of the spectrum. These cats look very nice so it will be interesting to see your average.

At FHA they would grade western semi-heavy or heavy with B and B-C bellies. I have my prices from last June with a top of $360 and a titty-belly @$100 Avg $265

I would be satisfied with that now.

Thanks for the kind words guys! Off to take the last four off boards, get them tagged and hit the road. Nine hour drive to Glenns Ferry.

It would be really interesting to see a plot of the selling price of every fur. Are there clusters at certain values? Lots of lows and some very highs? Is there a peak in the middle?

A straight average is an easy number, but often times does not tell the whole story.
