Good cable cutters. The most affordable ones are these that will do clean cuts everytime.... http://www.furcountrylures.com/components.php

Or you can buy the REAL C7 swiss made cable cutters for more money. There are plenty of C7 knock offs out there that sometimes work for a little while but not forever.

For the amount of cable I need to cut, a cold chisel and a piece of RR track work good, a med. light hit with a hammer and you get a clean cut.

Yes, those look like the ones I bought off Dan DeZarn in 1984 for $7.50...Not sure if that's a good price, but probably correct considering todays prices.

It is the ones some of these guys are referring to. But why not buy the American ones sold by Trappers that work as well, and IMO better than those, and they are cheaper? In the link I posted.

I prefer to buy American - every chance I can.
But when I clinked the link, I get a security warning saying they do not have a secure website.

You never know for sure on Amazon if you’re getting a knock off or not. They list brand name and ship knock off junk regularly.

I've always used Kline's lineman pliers. Don't buy the cheap knock offs.
