We go in and set a few doz. small cage traps. Then keep rotating them as needed to new areas. Most folks have educated the rats with snap traps by the time we get called in to service the place. Cages are vary effective for us. Some don't have enough equipment to handle a commercial project or will have a good investment to gear up before starting the job.

If you can utilize cameras like a wyze or cell, they can be very beneficial for all wildlife, but especially rats and mice. Watching the way a rat works, or avoids a trap of any kind is eye opening. It will help you target their weaknesses and habits, runs, hiding spots and entry points if discreet.
