Wondering if any of you guys from Ohio know much about the way they are cutting and spraying the invasive trees in Ohio on public ground ?I have been hunting in Ohio for around 8 years now and only hunt public ground.About 3 years ago they started cutting huge areas of some of the best bedding areas for deer I have ever seen.It is old strip mine ground so I don`t think it will ever grow great trees so I`m confused on what the end game is except for someone putting a pile of cash in their pocket. This past year they sprayed thousands of acres and killed everything in those areas. After knowing now how bad spraying round up around the house is people should be smarter I would think.I don`t like eating deer that eat poison on leaves before the tree dies. They are fighting a battle they cann`t win in my opinion because the surrounding area thats private land has thousands of acres of the same trees. The birds are just going to carry those seeds right back over. This is some of the best hunting I have ever hunted but I`m afraid its going down hill fast and will be years before it comes back.Their spending lots of money to do this I`m sure and their going to loose money from people not coming their to hunt if they continue this.

I`m not sure but I looked up Russain oilive and it looks like this could be one of the main trees they are trying to kill.I would like to go out and do a little shed hunting so if I do I will try and take a couple pictures.
