Tanned two fox and a coyote. One of the fox was bad rubbed the other was early November and just okay. Used the Boco method and they came out way softer than the first time I tanned fur.

Those turned out really nice.

Just curious, was there anything in Boco's instructions that wasn't quite clear? I am working on editing the little booklet I made from them based on feedback from all the people using those directions.

The only thing was how he washes them after "with soap and water" to get tanning oil out of the fur. I ended up fully submerging them in a good amount of Dawn and warm water rinsing until clear then reboarding and once they started to dry spray a little 50/50 mixture on thicker spots. Also he says mineral spirits which is pretty generic. Used clear lamp oil for the finish on the fur. I still am going to blow dry the fur but they are pretty much done.
