I've been thinking about getting some bobcat live traps, I looked online and didn't realize there were so many brands. What do you folks recommend?
Thanks

I have heard of guys who cage a lot more cats than I ever have that can tell you what their fave brand is and why. For myself, Cagemakers traps are awesome. Search for Schroeder cage traps up in Nebraska.

Comstock makes really good traps. I haven’t tried his.
Probably the best constructed would be briar patch if there’s still being built away, Bob had designed them
Cam trips Great traps.

John's traps are bulletproof, but nobody has the trigger system that the Camtrip cages have. Top notch in my book.

Any opinions on this cat trap?

That pan seems to make sense to me, but I'm no cage user for bobcats.

N B Cat Collector is an excellent trap .
I used them to catch bobcats for the state to do a study .
That pan system is a very good design .

Griz cages are made by my fur buyer, Kevin jones in Palmyra, NE, and he is also our Nebraska fur harvesters president. Solid cages, makes a few different models including a set of cat cages that nest inside each other for easy storage and transport.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
