Our lovely computer lady flew out overseas and will be working on averages over there so please be patient. Better and average bobcats did great but the casty bellies are still pretty cheap and there were over 100 bobcats no saled. Marten prices are going completely bonkers right now. Better coyotes did well, a lot of junk stuff that was super cheap or no bids. A lot of stale muskrats and racoon are going to kill averages on those but oh well. One of our main craft buyers was out with back problems and that hurt the squirrel, otter, skunk and fox prices. The majority of the fur has major interest and sounds to be improving all the time.
My phone is blowing up, and I am dealing with all of the odds and ends of a fur sale this huge. My voicemail is currently full with probably 20 texts right now. Have a car load of lots bidded on not picked up and no sales not picked up that we are going through. (No, they are not for sale, don't ask) Missy, me and the in laws were at the fairgrounds for just shy of 7 days with the set up and cleanup of the sale and are mentally and physically exhausted.
Lastly, I can't say enough about the ITA board, fur sale staff and the volunteers. It really really bothers me when folks say this is Rusty's sale. This is YOUR sale, because I can't do this alone. Without Kim, Annie, Kylee, Austin, John, Mom, Dad, Missy, Josh, Jesse, Tim, Bernie, Michelle, Kenny, Kim, Ron, Laurie, Travis L., Heather, Vinni, Simon, Sparky, Brett, Roger, Mike W. , Greg, Clint, Reese, Gail, Murdock, Tim, Justin, Naomi, Hunter, Catrina, all the FFA kids, and so many others I am forgetting it is just overwhelming the help we had. At one point I looked up and there was three different state presidents and two furbuyers all working side by side re sorting fur on the tables for us. Folks just jumped in wherever we needed help and if I asked I had three people say I'll help wherever.
Thank you for all the support and I promise we will make changes so you aren't waiting that long again. This sale is blowing up, people love all the atmosphere, demos, food and everything that comes with a ITA sale. Some folks call it a circus but I want it to be fun for you guys. We will be meeting as a board and fur sale staff to look at ways to improve as always. This sale is not Rusty's sale or for my ego like someone once told me I can promise you. Fur buyers have zero knowledge on which bobcats are mine. We are doing this sale so the trappers get the maximum possible amount for their fur and a great time. Also, we are doing this to raise money to protect trapping. Averages will be out the second I get them..
Sincerely
Rusty Kramer

Can you give an example? Say on interest vs price levels of fresh to stale goods and perhaps an opinion of the condition of the stale goods. What bout percentages? How many fresh over stale, more goods one way or another? Curious on the core fur items. We all know cats and marten are hot.

Don’t intend to distract you however an explanation behind the averages can be useful.

Thank you

That looks like a ton of cats in that picture.

Dang! I figured getting them right next to the buyers tables would've helped me out. Next time I've gotta get my cats on a southern sale so they shine in comparison. They sure don't next to the $1000 cats.
