Anyone have or used one?

Not for breaking ground but in an established garden, light tilling and cultivating.... see them on Amazon now and they're pretty cheap...any thoughts appreciated...

I have had this one for 2 years and am very pleased.
Our garden is 35 x 45 plus another 12x15 potato patch.
It does a great job tilling, battery lasts plenty long.
Have also used it to break new ground on a berry patch and it works pretty well, but takes a few trips to start really eating into the dirt.
Got sick and tired of the gas ones not starting or constantly breaking.

Make sure your battery-powered tiller has a low center of gravity. I used one 15 years ago that was difficult to maneuver because I had to fight to keep it upright.

I have a Mantis battery operated one close to 5 yrs. Very happy with it.

My garden is 20X 80 between both gardens along with flower beds.

Picked up an electric troy bilt tiller with 100 ft of extension cord out of the trash the other day works great also.

Other then the price for a battery operated one they are a great accessory .

A hoe is a little more work but nothing cultivates as good as a hoe.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I loaned my hoe out to a neighbor several years ago.. I reckon he still has it…
