I'll take the 2A Pepsi Challenge with anyone on this site or anywhere and completely get your frustration, but this would be unconstitutional.

Depending how its worded. Purposely doing things against the law. The constitution is supreme law of the land should have consequences. Removal from office at a minimum. When found to do so. Its no different the subversion or treason. In my opinion.

How do you explain to a woman that is complaining about needing more gun laws (that clearly has no gun knowledge determined by the things that she is saying) that us having a gun is a right the same as a woman has the right to vote. Both are amendments. 2A & 19A. It proves a point to hit home a little bit... losing an amended right I think.... especially when people think they have a right to drive... but what do we say when she is sharp and then asks well I have to register to vote you should have to register to own a gun... Seems like one to get caught up in.

I found asking her / pointing out how those laws actually make women old and weak victims.

Few can argue a weak man can easily over power most women. But having a gun levels the playing field in the weaker persons favor.

Here is an example of what I pointed out with a guy that was in favor of waiting periods. His reasoning was it gives a guy time to cool off if going through a divorce or something.

So I asked him who was more likely to need a gun man or woman.

Who was already likely to allready own a gun or have access to them men or women.

Then I flipped it. A woman would also have those waiting periods, is less likely to own or be able to come up with a gun when she is in danger from a man stalking her or domestic dispute wife beater type. So while she is fearfully waiting for her waiting period she is in more danger. That man won't need a gun to kick in her door and beat her to death and there is nothing she could do to stop him in time. But he is also likely to all ready have a gun or know where to get one if he wanted one to use. The funeral can be planed before the waiting period is over..

These laws cut both way.

Flip the script to a position where they can see and feel like they are in the place of helpless victim. Women are generally running on an emotional bases cpu. Feelings rule not reasion and logic. Got the get their feelings involved.

It still won't work on those of the left even when they agree with you point by point when you circle back to the full picture they reboot and go back tontheire original stance even if you broke it down point by point and theyn100% already with each one. In the case above it was a guy going through divorce not a woman.

He was acting in the same manner on emotion.

I thought the SCOTUS already said that we could own them. There are millions of these firearms out there. Let's see who gonna turn them in!

Easy. VA passed an unconstitutional gun law. I haven't read it. Appears to be really bad based on what I read here.

Then bowhunter got all hysterical about women and how they shouldn't be in charge of anything. He derailed the thread and has some serious issues with females. He also claims to have a wife. Need to see some proof before I believe it.

Y'all should be more worried about the dems that passed this bill instead of going off target.

If we took a poll by PMs I could probably get up to 5. Maybe 6.

Counting dead voters and illegals may make the numbers climb to "several".

Only Dems voted for it in the Senate

All of those Democrat Legislators, Delegates and Senators, will be up for re-election next year. Many of them will be voted out of office over this.
it is clearly a bridge too far for voters in many districts who will vote accordingly and run them out of office. Hopefully a Republican majority will result and the madness of this Governor will be stymied.

52 caril I hope your right. But considering they got in office in the first place shows how dumb or much the voters in the state care. Could be they know the win is in and voting day is just a show for the masses to give them the illusion thay have a say in the system and stay compliant.

Im sad to see anything like this get out of committee.

Why did it pass in the first place?
Because 99% of the people today don't pay attention to what's going on, outside of their little care free world!

Not only out of Committee, all it needs is the head squirrel to sign it if she hasn't already.
