I've never treated any beaver snares. Not sure it matters.

Let’s see if I can recall. Washing them, baking soda soaking, painting, dyeing, speed dipping them. Pretty much everything outside of pulling it off the spool, cutting it, adding the hardware and setting it.

I've never treated a snare. Maybe a guy would catch more if they did, I do not know but i won't spend time doing it.

When you sell your beaver that are snared do you get docked for the snare burn on the hide. I've snared many coon and always hope for behind the ears catch because I usually got docked for anything else.

Thank you. I figured that is where you were going, but I didn't know just how much of your list was included!

I will sometimes hit mine with just a little spray paint to dull them up a little. Usually not even that.
