Grow it in big pots, and just dump them out, as you replant every year.

I was just thinking about you Cathryn & Jerry as I walked in our woods. Our ramps are not up here yet in my area. You are a few weeks ahead of me here it seems every season.

Any way you'd do onion/garlic/shallot.

Eat em raw, sauteed, or like I do mostly, dehydrated and used as seasoning.

It's getting hard to get access to most patches around here anymore.
City people start liking them, and have no idea of how to get them.
Makes for a good market .

Good question out of curiosity. Also, wonder if there is a daily quantity limit that you can harvest?

Some.states have a season on them. Thankfully we dont. Our only restrictuon is no digging on state and fed lands for resale.
You can obly dig 180 plants per person on national forest. Luckily wr ha e all private permission with no restrictions.

We actually sell 250 to 300 lbs a year to a guy in NC. He comes up to ripley and picks em up.

Tn has restrictuons and i believe kentucky does as well

I saw that posted yesterday as well. Big pile of them but it said the feds donated them to the local community to be used. Article mentioned you could pick a gallon zip lock bag full for personal consumption in whatever park they were caught in
