Still need to add the chicken wire to these ,but seen people use those pannel gates for catching and containing cows and thought " hay this could probably work for chickens" . So the whole deal is is just to have a quick and portable way to expand the tractor give and them some more leg room ( we leave them in the tractor a lot the way it is but though more room would be nice ) but will still keep them nice and contained during the day . Usually we like to let them just roam around but everyone is about to start planting gardens and we dont want them scratching them up.whybhavw tried and used the electric netting but there usually too big and kinda a pain for one person. This however is three pieces and four stakes weights less then 50lbs total and one person can assemble and disassemble by themselfs in like 2 mins. Which is a big thing because we don't like to keep them in one place too long , tractor gets moves every few days . Also can always weld more sections up and can expand it our more for whatever reason.
