Ive read a lot about the testing of SFE, and it continuously being the most visited scent amongst common attractants. That being said, why is it that it's not used more commonly in commercial lures/baits?

It most likely is being used. However it needs to be used with care and caution. It is very caustic and a dangerous material to use if not familiar with its MSDS.
