If you don't take my personal check I probably will not by the item......jk

I always prefer a personal check. I don't even know what Venmo is and use PayPal so little I never remember from one time to the next what to do.

I usually pay with money order but I can do other forms. If I was selling something I’d prefer a bank check or money order if they want to send a paper payment form.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Paypal #1 for me. I don't have venmo or cash app or any of that. Personal check is fine. I have to really want something in order to go through the hassle of getting a money order for it.
Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait

As a seller I accept personal checks, money orders and PayPal, I don't even know what that other stuff is. As a buyer I will not buy if it has to be a money order. Money orders have a fee, I can no longer drive due to poor eyesight so it is a hassle to get someone to take me to a Post Office.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I prefer to use a personal check. If its MO only, it depends on how bad I want the item.
I don't do digital payments.

I prefer to send a credit union money order. That way if it’s ever lost, the credit union covers it by backing it out of their system and re-issuing it. Only happened once and I was satisfied with the outcome. Being old, I like paper.
Quick story: I was at Fleet-Farm buying .22 shells. The cashier asked for an ID to make sure I was old enough. The kid behind me in line said, “he’s paying with a check. That makes him old enough”. Didn’t bother me one bit.
Never too old to learn

The Trap Shed probably has few issues, but anyone with a printer can print a fake personal check or money order and to add insult to injury, most banks charge you a fee for taking a bad one. I only take USPS money orders and PayPal from people I don't know and also take Zelle and Venmo from people I know, or have a connection with.
I only do cash on pickup.
Keith I have taken hundreds of personal checks from trappers over many years and have never gotten a bad check from any of them.

You need to think about the buyer too. If you tell me money order, I will really have to want what you are selling to mess with that. You are saying you do not trust my check is good if you will not take it. But I should trust you will ship what ever you are selling. I have wrote a number of checks for items on the trap shed and have also taken them, never a problem.
